Whilst managing and co-ordinating the fostering training service I managed and developed many new and innovative services for the benefit of carers and had a good working rapport with both carers and social workers alike. My other claim to fame is to develop the first accredited mentoring Scheme for foster carers which was accredited and won the government kite mark from the Mentoring Befriending Foundation.

During my counselling work and social work background I have worked with numerous different client groups. This has included working for a project which counselled survivors of child sexual abuse, Clients living with or affected by HIV/AIDS, those suffering from bereavement and loss, and clients who are gay and/or questioning their sexuality. In addition I have worked with clients who are living with domestic violence and who are suicidal, as well as working with clients relationship and self esteem issues, and those suffering from depression and panic attacks.
